İzel Beliz Taylan, LLM., is a Turkish qualified Lawyer/Certified Data Privacy Officer. She graduated in the Law and Artificial Intelligence LLM program from the Brussels School of Competition and University of Liege joint degree in October,2022. She wrote her dissertation in her master program which was titled ” Rule of Law versus Rule of Code: Can DAO be regulated in the European Union. She also graduated from one of the best Law Faculty in Turkey, Bilkent University in January,2020. She is currently continuing her academic career as a Ph.D Candidate at Erasmus University, Rotterdam. She is a technology enthusiast and now working on the EU Artificial Intelligence Act Draft, Data Privacy, GDPR, IT Law and human rights issues.
