Cihangir Karabıyık is one of the founding partners of our offices. He has experience in high profile litigation, international humanitarian law, development law, NGO law, corporations law, contracts, internet law, climate change, venture capital, and tech startups in Türkiye.

Registered at the Ankara Bar Association in 2010, after establishing his legal practice he has served for nearly 3 years as the Director of Turkish Legal Affairs at a major international NGO in Türkiye.

He also took on active roles in UNDP and UNEP projects on carbon markets and climate change adaptation, and served in impartiality committees of carbon credit validation entities.

He took part in significant multinational mergers and acquisitions in Turkey and Canada.

A graduate of Faculty of Law at Gazi University, Cihangir Karabıyık received his master’s degree in law at Hacettepe University. Mr. Karabıyık holds an IFRC Diploma on Humanitarian Diplomacy.

He is a certified translator, and a co-editor of Ankara Bar Review, the English bar journal biannually published by the Ankara Bar Association.
